This year I traveled 2 times to USA for work ... one to Chicago, where E2C2 and one to NYC for NYCC. The emotional state of the market, especially among publishers, has changed in those 6 months.
fear has been cautious in terror. In October 2010 the list of best-selling comics, no one in Marvel or DC, have sold over 10,000 copies.
This is a disaster.
thinking minds of Marvel Comics and DC Comics should start to solve this situation.
Expected more closures of libraries in DC and up to 30% in Marvel.
And the French market, relatively speaking, is in the same impasse.
Without a proper mindset changed, accepting that there are risks to take, the whole world of the comic will go sliding down a slope of loss, until you are ready to make company to the Dodo.
